Long before creating PRODFIT, we embarked on a journey to improve working lives of people. Initially, we used existing technologies to change the way companies introduced their products and services to potential consumers.
A few years later, we found ourselves designing and delivering enterprise software that allowed organizations to manage large, complex workflows efficiently and powerfully.
Like many start-ups at the time, we grew rapidly in a wide-open market – eventually becoming the market leader in our space. We fostered wonderful relationships and learned more about the way organizations view and utilize software than we thought we would. After all, we were one of those vendors competing for contracts.
15 years later, our market was booming – new companies and products appearing at an incredible pace. We noticed that, as vendors, it was becoming increasingly difficult to break through the noise. Suddenly, it seemed as if everyone was doing everything; and doing it better than anyone else. Value propositions began shifting toward who and what a company or product was (the newest, biggest, scrappiest, etc). The “why” was getting lost in the mix.
Our product management side rejected this trend. Our implementation side saw endless project challenges on the horizon. And, our customer success side knew that an awful lot of struggling users lay ahead.
As we watched organizations grapple with this growing lack of clarity in the marketplace, it dawned on us that we could make a difference. By using our unique experience and product perspective, we could empower them to minimize their risks and embolden their successes.
So, in November 2020, we formed PRODFIT and started on our new path. It’s one that gets to the heart of who we are and what we strive to do. It is our why.
